1. Welcome to the Johannesburg Tourism Company NPC (A City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Entity Reg. No. 2003/009873/08), www.joburg.comunity.me (“the mobile application”).

The purpose of the mobile application is to pilot the use of mobile technologies as a means to publish information about the City of Johannesburg (the City) and to provide an efficient and easy to use channel for you to communicate with the City. The mobile application is made available by the City as part of an Active Citizenry pilot programme.

2. By accessing and using the mobile application, you, the user, agree to be bound by the terms and conditions that are set out in this notice. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, then you may not access, display, use, download, copy or distribute any of the content and services of this mobile application.

Your use of the mobile application

3. You agree that you will this mobile application for lawful purposes only. You may not use this mobile application for any unlawful purpose. 13. This is a pilot project intended to apply for a limited period of 90 (ninety) days. The Johannesburg Tourism Company makes no commitment for the continuation of this service for any period after this 90 (ninety) day period.

The Johannesburg Tourism Company, its owners, directors, employees, officials, suppliers, agents or representatives cannot be held liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, or any expense of any nature whatsoever, which may be suffered by you which arises directly or indirectly upon your reliance on the mobile application or its content.

15. The Johannesburg Tourism Company, its agents or suppliers will not be responsible for any direct or indirect special consequential or other damage of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred by you related to your use of, or your inability to access or use the content or the mobile application or any functionality of the mobile application or of any linked services even where the Johannesburg Tourism Company is expressly advised thereof.
