Congratulations to :
Boitumelo Tsheola from Tsheola Dinare Tours the Gauteng winner which was announced today.
Three finalists from Gauteng were announced in Kimberley during World Tourism Day - 29 September 2009.
The ETEYA Awards have grown from strength to strength and this is reflected in the incredible impact they have made on the many SMME's that have won over the Awards' nine years of existence.
ETEYA continues to acknowledge and support black (as defined in the Constitution) entrepreneurs, who operate small, micro and medium tourism or hospitality-related business that have been around for less than 5 years, employ less than 50 people and have a turnover less than R5 million a year.
We hope - through this initiative - to improve job creation, financial sustainability and development of the SMME sector within the tourism industry, as well as to enhance/ complement the already vast tourism experiences South Africa has to offer.
South African Tourism and their sponsors; South African Breweries and the Tourism Enterprise Partnership, are proud to be the driving force behind this great initiative and we look forward to receiving your entry for this year's Awards.
3 Johannesburg SMMEs had been selected to enter the semi final to represent the province.
They were:
Reggie Makhetha from Roots Restaurant
Zandile Dhlamini from Soweto Zantha Tours
Boitumelo Tsheola from Tsheola Dinare Tours
