The Kruger Park does not allow day visitors to take alcohol into the Park and no smoking is permitted on open safari vehicles.
Our vehicles are NOT fitted with 2 way radios as it is against Kruger Park regulations which we respect and for various other reasons. The main reason is that it causes speeding to sightings missing out on many other interesting aspects, congesting of sightings, which very often lead to frustration.
If you are a professional photographer we will also offer the vehicle at very affordable rates to the photographic party. Price on request depending on requirements.
Emphasizes are on good photographic opportunities, animal interaction and behaviour aspects, which will include birds and insects.
We advise not to drive after dark to the Phabeni Gate, Numbi Gate or Kruger Gate. You are driving into rural villages not known to you. You may find reckless drivers, stray animals on the road, potholes etc, and it is simply not safe to do so. It is recommend to go with reputable companies.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM NELSPRUIT
Do not take the Numbi Gate turn off just outside White River. This is a preferred route by most GPS’s as it is a few kilometers shorter, but most definitely not recommended. This road will take you trough the rural villages with bad potholed roads and reckless drivers. Yes if you have time, enjoy the ride and see the lifestyle of the locals.
A highly recommended route is once at Caster Bridge Shopping complex just outside White River, continue straight with the R40 until you reach Hazyview. This route is only about 10-15 km’s further but driving speed is a 100 km’s per hour, no potholes and a beautiful scenic drive which will take you pass the beautiful Dagama dam 25km's from Hazyview.
Reaching the intersection of the R536 turn right for Numbi Gate and left for the Phabeni or Kruger gate. Follow the well demarkated signs. You are 15 minutes from the Phabeni and Numbi gate and 45 minutes from the Kruger Gate.|| |
